 Step 2 - Introduction to R&B Chords, Tritones, and Prophetic Worship

The next phase in your development is to show you that you can play like the big boys. The number one goal with the UR Classic is to jump start your playing by changing the way you hear chords in your head, so that when you sit down at a piano or keyboard everyone could look at you and say, "Man, where did you get those nice chords from?!?"

What can I say about the Urban Worship Xtreme?! It is definitely Xtreme. Now it's time to get into the nitty gritty. Now that you are excited and have accomplished the basic Urban Chords, now it's time to take it another step. I touch on some of the major foundations of Neo Soul, Tritones, Jazz, and improvisational skills.

This is the DVD that will take you to another level. So on this DVD, I unleash the arsenal of chords that you hear all the time, but didn't know how to play. Progressions, licks, tricks, jazz, hits, and solos are all apart of this DVD. This is the extreme sequel to the Classic.

 Step 4 - Reiterating Tri-tones and Redundant Reinforcements

I covered the Tri-tones on the Xtreme, but there is still tons more to show you. This is probably one of the MOST IMPORTANT DVDs, you'll purchase, because the Tritones are the cornerstone of gospel music.

It is what makes gospel so flavorful. It is such a complex concept to teach and understand that I dedicated almost 2-Full hours of just focusing on the Tritones. I pick up where the Xtreme left off and I go much slower and in depth for which makes it easy for a beginner to understand.

 Step 5 - 'Flipping' Songs and Contemporary Gospel Phatness

By now you should be use to using MIDI as your learning tool. Now we have a new concept called MIDI Shed MixTape. This course is designed to capture inspiration through technology. This means that you will not miss what a musicians is doing, because all of the inspiration is captured with MIDI file.

My Friend Will Suddeth adds a whole different feel and he has a style in which I call, "Contemporary Gospel." His sound is so unique, I had him sit down and take two very simple songs: "Oh How I Love Jesus," and "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and play them the normal/basic way and then show you how to "flip" the song and make it contemporary. It is absolutely amazing what you will learn.

 Step 6 - Xtreme Phatness, Solos, Funk, Moog Bass, Lead Solos, Improvisational Skills, and MIDI Ear Training

Now it's time to cap it off with an Xtreme dose of phatness. My good friend Byron Chambers (Mr. Talkbox) simply turns on the record button and just simply jams out. It is literally a Shed session caught on MIDI. W-O-W!

Both of us had a wireless microphone and everything is recorded giving you literally everything you need to know on  a silver platter.
